What is Pilates:
Pilates is a physical exercise developed by Joseph Pilates. Joseph developed this method during the First World War to improve the rehabilitation program of war veterans. Nowadays Pilates is a good fitness system that is often used by professional dancers, athletes and it is the “secret” of many celebrities. Pilates consists of a series of smooth exercises that you can perform on the ground, so you can also do it at home. It is not a sport where you have to “run” in all directions. There are lots of Pilates exercises that can train any part of the body, but ultimately everything revolves around your core. With the core we mean the muscles that ensure which the body is in a proper balance and the muscles which support the spine.
