Tossa de Mar

The coastal town of Tossa de Mar is also known as the pearl of the Costa Brava. It is located north of the festive city of Lloret de Mar and is considered the most beautiful and historic place on the Costa Brava.

Beaches of Tossa de Mar

A classic medieval town naturally includes a wall: the Walls of Tossa de Mar. This impressive wall, also known as the great Castle of Tossa de Mar, consists of a 300-meter-long wall decorated with seven round towers, each 20 meters high. This wall was built in the 12th century to protect Villa Vella from piracy.
