Charly among pumpkins, chestnuts, and scares!🎃

You already know I love walking. But this time I’ve discovered a route where you can enjoy something tasty at every step.
Now that sounds like a good idea to me! 😉

I'm talking about Ganxotapes, the fun tapas route through Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
From October 23 to November 22, different bars and restaurants participate in this gastronomic festival. And, of course, I couldn’t miss out on such a delicious adventure!

One city, a bunch of delicious bites

The idea is simple: you walk from one restaurant to another and at each one, you try a tapa created especially for Ganxotapes.
For €3.50 you can enjoy a tapa accompanied by a drink: beer, wine, or water.
And the best part is that each venue prepares its own creation.
Some chefs go for something traditionally Catalan, while others experiment with surprising flavors.

I’m very curious to find out which will be my favorite tapa.
Although, knowing myself a little, I'll probably want to try at least five before deciding. 😉

Stroll, savor, and enjoy

I love the idea of strolling leisurely through the center of Sant Feliu, occasionally stepping into a cozy restaurant and letting myself be surprised.
Between tapas, a walk along the promenade, enjoy the sea views and then... keep discovering!
And did you know that you can also vote for your favorite Ganxotapa?
That makes it even more fun. Because, of course, I’ll have to try them very carefully before voting.

Are you in the Hotel Barcarola this autumn? Don't miss Ganxotapes!

You don't need to visit all the restaurants in one day. Choose a few places that catch your attention, enjoy a pleasant afternoon or evening, and discover how creative the local gastronomy can be.

Through the Guíxols app you can check the participating restaurants, their tapas, and the times they are served.

My advice? Start with a walk through Sant Feliu, wear comfortable clothes, and make sure you head out with a bit of an appetite.

Because this could be the most delicious way to discover the city!
